I have found out that I am late to get my card linked up these days. The last Stamptacular Sunday Challenge was one of them.......well I was not late when I logged it on my blog yesterday, but I found out today that I had forgotten to link it up to the page where the challenge was. I don`t know what I was thinking :D

The challenge at Next Level this week has also passed and I haven`t even got the card on my blog, I am so lazy........................I blame it on the fantastic weather we have been having lately. I have rather been enjoying myself on the beach with my aunt childs this weekend so I will have to try a little bit harder during the oncoming week I guess :D

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #12 "Red, White, Blue and a Star Too"

This is my entry for the Papertake Weekly Challenge this week. I have used blue and white bazzill, stamp who is kind of vintage looking, flowers punched out with a small flower punch and orange magic mesh.


Inside the envelope I have made a card to write the greeting on.

The Next Level Challenge & Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Hmmm......another card in the color green. I seriously has to buy some new bazzill :D
I actually went to the store near my home on Friday, but they had changed the opening hours. I of course had missed this. Well any way......this is my card for the challenge at The next Level Challenge and the Penny Black Saturday Challenge
The reason I have used the same card for two challenges is that I messed it up for myself by combining the requirements for both challenges. Why bother checking before the card is done?? :D


What I have used:

Green bazzill, pattern paper in red and light pink tones, offwhite cardstock, stamped image that I got from my twinsister, letters (made with quick cuts), glitter, brads and a sentiment stamp (do not remember which brand this is).

I have made a birthday card for a lovely young lady - my twin sister. I tried to make a card in some colors I rarely use, I am always grabbing for the blue, brown and pink paper when starting a new card, so this time I thought I would try a different color :D

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #11

This weeks theme is Fabolous Fathers. I made a cute little card for my dad. I used two different tones green bazzill, a stamped image from Penny Black, patterned paper from Nille, white paper from Nille and brads from Scrappiness.

Sentiment in Norwegian on left inside says "World`s Greatest".

On right inside I have made space to write a greating.

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #10

The theme for this week is "One for the boys" and I have made a birthday card for a boy turning 4 years in august. His favourite movie for the time being is Cars so I added some images of the caracters on the card.


The 3 first pictures shows the front and back, the card 1/2 open and the card open.

I made a belly band to keep the card closed and I used my personal stamp to make a tag and glued it on. The two bottom pictures shows the card with the band on.

Another baptism card

Another baptism card ordered of the same lady that ordered the previous baptism card and the wedding card. Since this is to the same girls baptism I made it in the same type of style and also in pink. I have painted a little girl dancing as embellishment to this card. I painted the lovely little girl with Distress Ink. Around the neck and leg openings I glued on some white ribbons and between the leg openings I glued on 3 pink buttons.

Baptism Card

This card is made for a little girls baptism. It was ordered of the same lady that ordered the wedding card who is slightly different than the ordinary cards you buy in the store.
Since the card is for a little girl, I made it in pink and white with a lot of rhinestones on it. Bling-bling :D

Wedding Card

Another ordered wedding card, it is the right season for this now :D

The mother of the bride wanted some other colors than what is usually used on wedding cards, so I suggested green and she was all in right away. So I knew this card had to be made.......but when I received the information needed - there was another two cards on the list. I have to make two cards for a little girls baptism as well. Great!!!! I love making cards so this should not be a problem :D

I used a light green bazzill as base for this card and added pattern paper and embellishment I thought looked good against the base. It turned out ok and it is a little bit different than the wedding cards you can buy in the stores.

Scrappestaffett nr 4 - Scrappiness

Oppgaven denne gangen var å lage et kort eller en LO i vintage stil. Jeg må innrømme at jeg er skikkelig dårlig på denne stilen, men jeg har nå prøvd meg allikevel.

Jeg har brukt brun bazzill, mønsterark fra Webster`s Pages fra serien Parlor Collection - navnet på dette er "Savory". Ellers har jeg brukt grungeboards fra Tim Holtz som er brushet med blekk i fargene gull og brunt, blomster som også er brushet med brunt blekk - alt dette er kjøpt på Gillers Hus Jeg fant et bilde på internett som jeg printet ut og pyntet med Antique Brass brads fra Scrappiness.

The assignment this time was to make a card or LO in vintage style. I have to say that I am really bad at making cards in this style, but anyway I have tried.

I have used brown bazzill, design paper from Webster`s Pages from the Parlor Collection series - the name on this paper is "Savory". I also have used grungeboards from Tim Holtz and flowers both brushed with ink in c0lors brown and gold - all of this is bought from Gillers Hus
I found a picture on the internet that I printed out and decorated with Antique Brass brads from Scrappiness,

Bottle Decoration

This bottle decoration was made to a colleague of my boyfriend as a little token of appreciation for the help giving him.

It is always nice to give away a little something to say thank you for all your help etc.

Wedding Card

This card is made for a couple that is getting married this summer. This was a really fun card making and I sat for hours trying out different things before I was happy with how it turned out in the end :D

I have erased the names on these pictures, but the bride and grooms name is written on the pink square in front and mine and my boyfriends name is written in the square on the right inside of card.

Wedding Card

This wedding card was ordered from a friend of mine who is attending a wedding in June. It is quite similiar to the previous wedding card I made (the other card is actually put into my blog after this one :D ) - just a little difference in colors and the inside of card.

ATC - Clean & Simple

These ATC`s was made for a Clean & Simple swap at Artpieces. I do not know if these are clean and simple enought, but I think they are quite simple. It is so much fun swapping - it is great to get ideas from other scrappers / cardmakers.
